Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith is a year of transition as our school is undergoing seismic upgrading.  We have big plans for our garden space in the fall which include creating an entirely indigenous foodscape network.

In preparation for this project, classes have been working with Lori Snyder, an Indigenous Educator and Herbalist.  Lori has worked with multiple classes to teach students about Indigenous plants and their traditional uses as source of food, medicine, and cultural significance.  These walking tours have given students a hands-on experience where they have been able to touch, smell and taste plants in their community!
