It’s been a bit of a bumpy road thus far, but after some growing pains we are getting back on track. We now have a group of champions to head up our garden project to supply our School Culinary Program. The garden is still alive, a bit unruly, but still alive. We have been able to pull kale, mizuna and nastursiums (flowers and leaves) all winter long. Not sure who started them in the garden but they are there. Now its time to get down to business, with new vigor and hope we have plans to expand to a new space, and look forward to the possibility of chickens and bees. One step at a time though, first things first we need to revitalize our green space. Time to get dirty again…
