We are very proud of our Kingsford-Smith Potato Celebration which we have held for two years.  We have grown potatoes in classrooms over spring break.  We start the potatoes in classrooms over spring break and move them outside for the spring. We also grow herbs in windowsills.  In June, we harvested the potatoes along with the herbs and had a Potato Sundae Celebration.  The children topped potatoes they grew with sour cream and herbs from our windowsill garden.
